Project Brief

Selected as one of 15 designers for Wix Studio's inaugural Web.Lab, an experimental design program exploring creative web experiences through emerging platform features. Assigned to develop an original website using Mouse Parallax as the primary interaction mechanic. The challenge was to transform cursor movement into a meaningful storytelling device while exploring depth, motion, and spatial interaction within Wix Studio.

Concept

Using the cycle of a plant in a blooming digital garden to represent the extractive cycles of digital and physical mining. Extractive industries or tech platforms often mine complex resources (data, human experiences, natural systems) without acknowledging or respecting the underlying intricacies.
