Brief

Create a visual identity and promotional campaign for Surveillance Sex: Cinema, Tech, and Performance, a two-day symposium examining surveillance through sex worker media, performance, and scholarship. Develop a typographic system and promotional materials that balance institutional clarity with the project's critical engagement with surveillance, intimacy, and contemporary image culture.

Visual Research

Visual research examined the aesthetics of surveillance, intimacy, censorship, and mediated desire through contemporary fashion imagery, performance documentation, experimental cinema, and internet image culture. These references informed the project's material language, editorial composition, typography, and image treatment, resulting in a visual identity that balances institutional communication with the symposium's critical themes.
