Phenomenology of Myself (Sit on Me)
Interactive virtual reality project with real-time motion capture.
You (the player) slowly become a chair while pondering the object-oriented ontological nature of self-hood. Across the table where you sit is a mirror. As you look into the mirror, your VR avatar slowly morphs a chair that moves with your body. Once you have full transitioned, an Avatar sits on you.
Tools: made with Unity, Microsoft Kinect, Open Sound Control, and Oculus Rift.
